How does pricing work?

Free gives every workspace full access to Hyrax, a $30 starter credit, $10/month ongoing credit, and up to 100 PR reviews for free, with no card required. Paid is $30 per user per month, and each paid user gets $30/month of credits. Credits meter usage across audits, fixes, and reviews; there are no feature walls.

When do I need a paid seat?

When a developer wants deeper access: opening full summaries in Hyrax, asking Hyrax to fix an issue, or running more workflows than the free credits cover. Each paid user gets $30/month of credits, and paid workspaces can opt in to overage with a budget cap they set.

What is the 13-step verification?

Before a PR ships, every fix has to pass 13 checks: the tests it started with, the tests after the change, the build, lint and formatting, a size limit on the diff, a second review by an independent agent, and a re-scan to confirm the original issue is gone. If a critical check fails, the fix never becomes a PR.

How is Hyrax different from AI coding assistants?

Coding assistants help write code faster. Hyrax is the independent layer that reviews what they produce: it audits issues, fixes them, and ships PRs for engineers to review and merge. Different category, different outcome.

Scan reads the whole codebase first, so it understands your architecture and conventions, then looks for problems the way a reviewer would. It produces a ranked list of findings and easy wins, each with a plan for the fix.

Every change ships as a pull request with the [Hyrax] prefix. PR Review reviews every opened pull request automatically against the codebase conventions, leaving comments that update as the code changes. It can block merge on must-fix findings. You get up to 100 PR reviews for free.

What languages are supported?

Hyrax works across 19 languages: Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, Rust, Swift, Ruby, Java, Kotlin, C#, C++, C, PHP, Scala, Dart, Elixir, Shell, Lua, and MDX. It works with the frameworks built on them: React, Next.js, Vue, Svelte, Angular, Node.js, Django, Rails, Spring, FastAPI, Express, React Native, and Flutter.

What integrations are supported?

GitHub for source control. Linear for ticket management. Tickets are created on audit and closed automatically when fixes merge.

All inference runs in the Hyrax AWS Bedrock account. Hyrax does not train on customer code.

Simpler Pricing: Two Plans, One Meter

We replaced our plan ladder with two plans. Free gives every workspace the full product with monthly credits. Paid is $30 per user per month, and each paid user gets $30/month of credits.

Today we're changing how Hyrax is priced. The old three-tier ladder (Free, Pro, Team) is gone. In its place: two plans, one meter, and no feature walls.

What changed#

Free is the full product. Hyrax has always been free to start, but the free tier used to be a slice of the product. Now every workspace gets everything Hyrax does: repository audits, verified fixes shipped as merge-ready PRs, and up to 100 PR reviews for free. You start with a $30 credit and get $10/month ongoing. No card required.

Paid is $30 per user per month. It's the same product. Each paid user gets $30/month of credits, which is enough to run Hyrax all the time instead of rationing it. Paid workspaces can also opt in to usage overage, with a budget cap you set that Hyrax can't exceed.

That's the whole model.

Why we did it#

The old ladder gated features by plan. The audit on Free was capped, the full pipeline lived on Pro, and parts of the product sat behind Team. Every conversation about upgrading started with "which features am I missing?", which is the wrong question. Nobody wants to study a feature matrix to find out whether a tool works on their codebase.

Credits fix that. On the new model, the question is just "how much do I want Hyrax to do this month?" Free users run the same audits, get the same verified fixes, and see the same PR review comments as paid users. When the free reviews and credits run out, you wait for the monthly refresh or add a paid seat. Usage is the only thing being metered.

What this means for your team#

You only pay for developers who want Hyrax working for them constantly. The workspace gets up to 100 PR reviews for free, posted as review comments in GitHub, so the whole team sees value in its normal workflow whether or not they hold a seat.

A seat isn't just an access badge either. Each paid user gets $30/month of credits, so every seat you add comes with the capacity to actually use it.

What happens to existing plans#

If you're on an old Pro or Team plan, nothing breaks. We'll reach out with migration details, and the new model is designed so nobody ends up with less than they had.
